The SBOL-VO Web Service (SBOL-VOWS)

The web service provides methods for mapping ontological terms to SBOL Visual glyphs and to return information. Please see http://synbiodex.github.io/SBOL-visual/Ontology for more information about the web service or to browse terms from the SBOL Visual Ontology (SBOL-VO).

Glyph interface examples

• glyph/AptamerGlyph: Resolves the glyph corresponding to the SBOL-VO:AptamerGlyph term.
• glyph/SO:0000031: Resolves the glyph corresponding to the S0:0000031 Aptamer term.
• glyph/SO:0000031/svg: Resolves the SVG glyph corresponding to the S0:0000031 Aptamer term.
• glyph/SO:0000031/pdf: Resolves the PDF glyph corresponding to the S0:0000031 Aptamer term.

Mapping interface examples

• mapping/SO:0000031: Retrieves the mapping information for the SO:0000031 Aptamer term.
• mapping/SO:0000033: Retrieve the mapping information for the SO:0000033 RNA Aptamer term.

Query interface examples

• query/CDSGlyph: Retrieves information about the SBOL-VO:CDSGlyph term and its related sub terms.
• query/SO:0000316: Retrieves information about the SBOL-VO glyphs corresponding to the SO:0000316 CDS term and all related SBOL-VO subterms.
• query/SBO:0000231: Retrieves information about SBOL-VO glyphs corresponding to molecular interactions, identified with terms that are subterms of SBO:0000231.

Metadata interface examples

• metadata/CDSGlyph: Retrieves metadata about the SBOL-VO:CDSGlyph term.
